Last updated 2 November 2026
rauntruth.com is a free research tool for viewing and analysing microscopy images, run by Ariel (ariel@rauntruth.com). By using it you agree to these terms.
Using the site
- The site is free to use, for research and education.
- Use only images you have the right to use. They are analysed in your own browser (see the privacy policy).
- Don't use the site to break the law, to attack or overload it or the services it relies on, or to get at anyone else's data.
- Using Google Drive or signing in with Google is also subject to Google's terms of service.
- The site's code is open source under the MIT License: you may use, copy and change it under that license's terms.
Results
The site's measurements, counts and detections come from research algorithms that are still being developed, and they can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them. They are not for diagnosing or treating anyone.
Ground truth you submit
Ground truth you submit is posted by you, publicly, on the site's GitHub repository. By submitting it you agree that it may be used to test and improve the site's algorithms, and that it may be published with them.
No warranty
The site is provided as is, without any warranty. It may change, be unavailable, or stop at any time. As far as the law allows, whoever runs the site is not liable for any loss or damage from using it, including lost data or wrong results.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, this page will say so, with a new date at the top; using the site after that means you accept them. Questions: ariel@rauntruth.com.
